I believe I remember the CEO said in their 3Q earnings call that he won't be negotiating prices with customers anymore, but otherwise everything else remains the same. They had a US guy running their manufacturing facility, but instead now he's monitoring the construction of their new HQ in Lingang, Shanghai, lol. My main takeaway from their earnings call was that as long as the US citizen isn't involved with production/research/sales, then they can remain employed (or at least the company is operating under this premise)I am wondering what is the ACMR CEO Wang Hui doing at the moment. Since he is US citizen,is he still working at ACMR ShangHai?
CEO of NVIDIA already said Moore's Law is dead.Interesting the price between 90nm and 28nm, just 67%, despite being 10 years difference.
VS other nodes like 5nm and 28nm, a whopping 533% increase in just 6 years.
We are reaching the limits of Moore's Law.
That's good for China.
Have you heard any update on whether or not they can get the tools they need for further expansion? Are their expansion here based on tools they already stocked up?Hefei Changxin Memory (CXMT) June 2022 production per month. I think will reach 120,000 next month.

Intel and Nvidia are a late adopters of advanced chip packaging techniques, AMD are the ones who has been trying to offset Moore's Law by using advanced packaging.CEO of NVIDIA already said Moore's Law is dead.
Cost per transistor stopped going down at 28nm. And most companies no longer have the economies of scale to continue going down the rabbit hole further.
