You underestimate the resourcefulness of those in the semiconductor industry and the US government's ability to obtain information. We are paid to know information before the media.

Do you really think the USG found out about PXW from the media?
Well, Blinken and Austen found out about the Ukrainian missile that hit Poland from TV news several hours before being notified by their intelligence agencies....so, maybe?

I’m talking only about intelligence about the semi Industry progress in China.

Sir for obvious reason they have a local machine comparable to NXT 1980i, so why import the same;)My speculation when ASML hold the delivery of the already paid EUVL at the behest of the US, they had to compromise with SMIC to smooth out the irritation and may used the paid money to produce a Chinese specific machine. The end results are the NXT 2050i and NXT 2100i.:cool:
As usual the US Admin is late in putting restrictions on selling the ASML DUVL to China. The boat has already left the Harbour.
ASML has already sold large numbers of its latest model 2050i and 2100i DUVL to Chinese FABS and is obligated to provide parts and servicing if they want to continue doing business in China in the future.
This will help Chinese FABS continue the production of 7nm ICs as a stop gap while waiting for the mass production of the SMEE DUVL and for the EUVL to appear.
Yes, certainly Huawei should have had more foresight and moved into the IC Fabrication business sooner. This would have been helpful.

Bear in mind that Huawei is now investing alot of funds in Lithography sub-system manufacturers like RSLaser. Huawei also has a shareholding in SMEE and is likely providing funds to SMEE for R&D. SMEE used to be a chronically under funded company.

A key company to watch is RSLaser. They have successfully developed the 60W Arf Excimer Laser and is moving to ramp up production.
They should now be working on the R&D of a
90W - 120W Arf Excimer Laser. The successful development of this more powerful Laser will lead to a advanced version of the SMEE DUVL making its appearance.

Sir welcome back!!!!, I know I may sound like a broken record and maybe too optimistic for some of our esteem members BUT I have a hunch with news of Lithography patent that Huawei may introduce an advance 22nm DUVL comparable to NXT 2050i next year. :)

Do you have a timeframe for when the 90W - 120W excimer laser will be ready? Also, do you have any updates on the EUVL? Are things still on track for 2025 or have there been setbacks/delays?

great news @ansy1968 .... but I am even happy enough if Huawei introduce DUVL next year that comparable to 2000i, even 1980i

Research progress of tunneling magnetoresistance sensor​

Abstract​

Sensors play an important role in Internet of Things (IoT) industry and account for a rapidly growing market share. Among them, the magnetic sensor based on tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) effect possesses great potential applications in the fields of biomedical, navigation, positioning, current detection, and non-destructive testing due to its extremely high sensitivity, small device size and low power consumption. In this paper, we focus on the development of TMR sensor technology routes, covering a series of research advances from a sensor transducer to thre -dimensional magnetic field detection, and then to the applications. Firstly, we recall the development history of TMR sensors, explain its working principle, and discuss the method to improve the output linearity of single magnetic tunnel junction. Next,we state the Wheatstone-bridge structure, which can inhibit temperature drift in detail and review several methods of fabricating the full bridge of TMR sensors. Furthermore, for the market demand of three-dimensional magnetic field detection, we summarize the methods of designing and fabricating three-dimensional sensing structure of the TMR sensor. At the same time, we list several optimization schemes of TMR sensor performance in terms of sensitivity and noise level. Finally, we discuss two types of emerging applications of TMR sensors in recent years. The TMR sensors can also be used in intelligence healthcare due to their ultra-high sensitivity. In addition, devices from the combination of spin materials and MEMS structure have attracted wide attention, especially, because of the large commercial market of microphones, spin-MEMS microphones utilized TMR techniques will be the next research hotspot in this interdisciplinary field
