Okay lets do the math US 300 million +EU another 300 million+ Japan 110 million +SK 40 million + Canada 30 million + Australia 27 million + NZ 5 million, So I'm wrong its 800 million way lower than your 1 Billion estimate.

Also given that Chinese consumer brands cover the whole spectrum of low, middle and high end consumer products, china can always export to other markets. Don't think there are European or American companies that cover those consumer sections? So to provide the silver or bronze billion they will most likely have to import from China again.

A bit of a sidestep but i think it will be a bigger lost for the west they are losing a lot electric data intelligence about Russians the sort of intelligence that was being delivered to them free of charge and in an easy digestable format to analyse. They will now need to see if they can place bots to scrape all that data from Russian social media and then convert it to an easy digestable format. Same now that Russians can't use western based payment message systems the west has lost the ability to trace Russian payment traffic done in euros and dollars.

I bet this one will be fully localized, or at last fully de-americanized.

Maybe even with SMEE machines instead of ASML if the ramp up to reach the planned 100,000 wafers per month is relatively slow. If they want to reach 100K wpm as soon as possible, I'd guess ASML will still be in.

The Shanghai FAB both SN1 and the incoming SN2 will be using ASML and both of them are huge.
