I was projecting SMIC to hit $10 billion revenue mark in three years. If they keep the momentum, they can get there next year.
Output will be doubled in 2024. Expect 20 billion usd.
That's probably a bit too optimistic. It's still difficult to imagine that China has a $20 billion semiconductor fab - would be astonishing thinking about it. Much depend on both growth rate and capacity expansion plan.
New fabs in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen will be completed this year. Combine output of 200,000 12 inch wafers per month.

By "domestic", do you mean
- a 14 nm line is up and running in China
- a 14 nm line using all domestic production equipment is up and running in China
Hmm. I'm not a US news media but I have written several articles on China equipment in Seeking Alpha website, which is then put on the internet. I provided the link here in this forum several times.
Bloomberg became trash back when they took CIA money to print that supermicro "China hardware backdoor" article...
Pretty sure many before have said your articles are the exception to the generalization. I personally enjoy your articles and registered for seeking Alpha. I do see that you get a lot for hate in the comments for being too pro china. Hope that doesn't get to you to much.
Bloomberg, like Gordan Chang, is always right. You just have to remember to multiply their answer by -1.
