SAC has no dealings with MMPP Salut from what I know. Salut deals are exclusively for CAC (J-10 and J-20). Those Salut engines are customized for CAC.

In contrast J-11/J-11A made by SAC uses AL-31F from NPO Saturn. So the question is whether Russia is now willing to sell AL-41F1S to SAC?

So when it comes to Russian engines it it something like,

Salut -> CAC
Saturn -> SAC
Soloviev -> XAC

Indeed, SAC never dealt with Salut before but their modification of the Flanker airframe into the J-11B might discourage Saturn from working with them again. Even Tphuang expressed surprise at how SAC managed to get that many AL-31Fs for their J-15s.

These are not only CGs but even bad ones :( Just look at the J-11A's serial number. It's much too large, the Su-35's numbers are too round and in the second image there's an AAM just hanging under the J-11A's cockpit. :confused::p:D

I seldom look closely at missiles But now I saw the extended grid fins on the second and third picture. Surely those are deployed just before the missiles are launched?

SO, how many actual SU-35 pictures have we seen Deino?

I am surprised that we are not seeing a lot more.

It's like the Chinese are reluctant to show these birds in the least.

I have seen a LOT of PS images...but very very few actual photos. If that one with all the people standing in front of it is an SU-35, then how many more actual pics have you seen?

It's really kind of crazy. Seems like they are ether super secretive about it...even more so now than the J-20, or they are ashamed of it...or simply do not put enough emphasis on it to show it.
