I apologize. I misspoke. I should have said the Chinese didn't confirm it.
But my question still stands. Why did the Chinese not confirm it? Do the Chinese usually hold on to confirmation of weapons purchase until the delivery is made? I'm simply trying to find a pattern if there is one.
There is no need to get defensive. I'm skeptical of the Su-35 deal, to be honest. Since you don't own the Su-35 and most likely you didn't design the Su-35, I have nothing against you. Even if you are one of the designers of the plane, I still have nothing against you. The Su-35 is an amazing fighter plane. Every engineer involved in designing it should be absolutely proud of it. It's just that I don't think it suits China at this point. So I have nothing against you.
And when we laugh at the officials for their crying wolf, we are laughing at the officials who made the comments. Since you are not one of those officials and you don't own the company, there is no need for you to feel offended.
I agree, no problem let me add, this, i am like you just a fanboy, nothing else, not a pilot, not a designer, just a fan boy, i only make models. mostly 1/144.
The news are simply like this, the Khabarovsk governor at the inauguration of a Sukhoi aluminium plant said according to some reports the Su-35s were going to start deliveries before 2017.
So the Russian side are quoting officials link to Sukhoi, Kret and Rostec, it is very hard it is a lie at this moment.
China did not confirm or deny it, so there is some ambiguity, yes, i admit, could i be wrong about? yes i could because i am a fan, but I think it is very likely true 4 Su-35s are going to be delivered soon.
