But your "reasons" are based on an assumption that is false, which is that China has taken a negative turn when in fact it has never been more powerful. So your reasons mean nothing; it's like making reasons for why the earth was destroyed yesterday. For the four reasons I listed.
See, this is a great example of you trying to twist things. Xi scrapped the One Child Policy and allowed the second child; and you said he banned the third child. If he allowed the third, you'd say he banned the 4th. This logic is as rancid as your "reasons" for an event that never happened. He has allowed China's birth rate to fall by over 25% while still maintaining an anti-natalist policy of banning the third child, single parenthood, and freezing eggs. This year, the UN estimates the number of babies born on new year's in China fell from 46,000 to 35,000.
You can't do the same thing at all stages of development. The key to success is to do the right thing at the right time, NOT doing the same thing all the time. Xi has strengthened China like no one before him and he has adapted to a West that is increasingly hostile as they inevitably realize China's power.Did Mao Zedong post-1972, Hua Guofeng, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and Hu Jintao bend over backwards? If he had just done what those leaders did the rising tensions would barely have been a ripple. He is the one who started all this to begin with. The best way to challenge American primacy is to strengthen China, and you can't do that by turning the whole world (except Russia) against you. And even with Russia, the *only* reason relations improved is because of the Euromaidan revolution, it has nothing to do with any moves Xi made.
Don't worry; you're always wrong. And actually, you do talk about it a lot but you get beaten in debate every time so you have to keep it shut for a while before you come back to repeat the same defeated points. Xi's capability as a leader is evident in China's growth across all sectors and its incredibly efficient handling of COVID as compared to peers.I feel strongly about the issue. I really don't talk about it a lot because I don't like to start too many fights, and because I hope I'm wrong and I keep looking for reasons why Xi is a good leader, because China needs him to be.
You've lost it a lot, which is why your posts never make sense. Not all Chinese tech and their actions benefit China. Americans bust their own tech companies all the time when they don't like what they are doing. The decision of which things benefit China are not yours to make or judge; they belong to those with far more expertise and clearance than you. They are Xi's advisors. But when I see stuff like Xi attacking Chinese tech companies, which is the top goal of Pompeo and others, I admit I lose it a little.
China's so successful I've never seen Pompeo do anything other than scowl when mentioning China. China's in everything he talks about; he's got no breathing room from the pressure of China's success.Pompeo and other China enemies are probably sitting back laughing at Xi's attack on Chinese tech. On top of all the other stuff he's done it's just too much. One poster above credit Xi for MIC2025 but that's Li Keqiang's idea.
And that's indicated by the fact that China's economy and share of world trade rises every year, right? Retardation level too high. Does not compute. When Li is gone and is replaced by a hardliner I wouldn't be surprised if China gradually shifted towards the North Korea economic model. It'll happen slowly so people don't notice.
Which is why Xi's drive to eradicate poverty in China is the most successful in history, right? You're all about falun gong fantasies, not about realism.Xi is all about himself and not China.
