And about stronger PLA presence in South Sudan it's nothing surprising considering PRC's efforts and involvement in this part of Africa. Both resources and willingness is there for the job.

You don't do your duty because it benefit you but because it is the right thing to do
If that what Japan did, it reinforce the perception that Japan is selfish only care about themselves. And ring hollow the idea of Japan as defender of rule based international law, make amend with her past and ready to positively contribute to the humanity at large.

It is really a shame Japan has the potential but choose not to lead . first in 1930's now in modern time Japan still didn't get it In 70's she is flushed with money instead of investing in her poorer Asian fellow she choose to buy golf course in pebble beach California. Japan lack vision of greatness

Japan couldn't do that since 1945, I don't know what 'reinforcement of perception' you're writing about. Your skewed anti-Japanese views for sure.

But that hasn't changed Japanese prestige on international scene one iota. That's a fact.

What "prestige" were you yammering about? You think that Japan by playing along the rules of Westerners that they all of a sudden become prestigious in their eyes? o_O That's not very Bushido even by Japanese standard.

Since I can't see who you are replying to I'm going to assume its janiz. Japan should follow Bushido and only use swords, spears and bows. Anything else is not honourable according to Bushido.

I tell you what's not honorable. Japan ignoring their WWII atrocities on their history books and than try to point a finger of distraction at China....by saying "what about the Cultural Revolution and Mao".

Honour is relative. Killing people is considered honourable in some societies, but owning up to them is not.
