New developments about China's submarine trade with Thailand

Pakistan is willing to change!!
Commander. Thorn. Reveal
Thorn. Pakistan
Ready to use CHD 620 engine
Chinese stuff. Put on a submarine
Reveal that I don't need to worry.
Production line. Spare parts.
Point out as a reason to support one that Thai Navy has brought to consider whether it will change to Chinese engine or not.
Because Germany will no longer be selling MTU engines to China.
China itself has to use China’s engine
Waiting for the board to consider within June
.
Admiral Choir Chairmen, Naval Commander said that Luang Chang is now ready for the mission to help the people, especially setting up a 2nd level hospital, which can provide a level of crisis emergency treatment. It can also transport a conveyor of relief supplies in large disasters, remote areas, as the ship has high sea resistance. Sea state level 9 receives 14 meters high waves, which has ever happened in the epicenter of typhoon gay
General R.I.P. Teacher. Zhengchai also said that armed or equipped with guns are just self-defense systems. For the war management systems, surveillance systems are installed only to enhance the capacity of the ship in full combat. The submarine support missions must wait for clarity to supply submarines from China first, then later on to enhance the capacity.
When asked, Pakistan, which ordered submarine from China on engine issue, whether it is ready to change engine to China-made CHD620 General R.I.P. Teacher. Zhengchai said that the Navy has sent a senior military commission to China to check the production line of such engines that the Chinese already used. Currently, the engine is mainly a generator for Chinese submarine and is used on all Chinese warships. To adapt it to submarine, a few additional parts will be required to be installed.
“Pakistan-manufactured engines have started production line. That means if China has produced CHD620 engine for Pakistan submarines, China itself has to use this engine on Chinese submarines as well in connecting future submarines, which China has been producing submarines every year for use in Chinese Navy.”
This issue will be an important reason for the Navy's decision to look into in terms of engine performance, engine safety, and the final step is the ability of tactical operations to be applied to submarines. We have considered all 3 topics to inform us about whether we will accept such engines to be re-installed on the submarine we ordered from China.
General R.I.P. Teacher. Chengchai said that all these matters have been presented to the government through the Ministry of Defense continuously. Reported to the Ministry of Defense for information and progress in the negotiations, as well as a decision making approach to the final stages.
When asked whether concerned or not, the new government coming in may not understand the conduct of the Navy General. R.I.P. Teacher. Chengchai also said that the Navy must brief the information to the new government, the reason of necessity and what the Navy has been doing in solving the problem, which is the decision power of the new government.
As part of the submarine cancellation plan, we have already slowed down the 2nd-3rd submarine project, replacing the 2nd frigate ship project during the time we had a submarine problem. The conclusion is that we will continue in the country to support the shipping industry and transfer technology to the shipping sector in Thailand.
General R.I.P. Teacher. Chengchai said that we are in the process of deciding whether to move forward or terminate the contract and have not yet reached a conclusion that talks with China about the compensation payment after the project is delayed, whether it is to guarantee the use of such engines or spare parts, equipment to compensate the Thai Navy, but it has not been discussed whether China will refund the payment because it is a governmental matter.
"The schedule to get all the conclusion is still at the end of June. Chinese officials will gather information to us in order to finalize and present the next government. It will change from proposed or not up to the cabinet. It is considered because it is the power of the committee. As for whether it is cancelled, will the Chinese refund us or not? This part is a matter of intergovernmental negotiations with the government to speak."
Their 071 is intended for submarine support missions? You don’t think they are planning to bring a submarine into the well deck?

Lmao what? A crewed submarine wouldn't fit into the well deck at all. However, unmanned submarines on the other hand make more sense.

Type 071E actually can have good submarine support role. In other navies, submarines usually get resupply along side with a submarine tender. Type 071E has a large crane to transfer torpedo, fuel, oil, water, food, spare parts, and has advantage of having a well deck from where landing craft can sail out and reach the submarine for personnel and material transfer. And then there is a large hatch door on the side of the hull which make reaching the submarine easier by boats.

071E can also provide medical support as well as R&R to the crew of the submarine.

Any idea what the well deck dimensions are?
No idea on the exact dimension, but it can accomodate 4 LCAC.

USS Frank Cable is a dedicated submarine tender, picture below show it supporting 2 US navy submarines.

Around 130m long and 24m wide.
Incredible, so wouldn’t you say this is big enough to hold a Type 039C or 2? I know it might not be realistic, but maybe the dimensions are there.

I have an image in my head of 071’s acting as sub carriers.

The well is not high enough. Besides that, you want to keep the sub afloat in the well, right? Which means that you will need at least 8 metres of water in the well. There are easier ways to sink a ship.
