Is that a superficial damage or actually went through barrel?
It’s the outer covering. VT-4 retaliated with main gun right after the sniper round hit.
Note this is a export type and differs from PLAA's own model.
Does this mean the PLA already operates such drones? AFAIK I have never seen this type of drone operated by PLA.
PLA hasn't publicly announced any type of tactical swarm weapon systems yet, but it is reasonable to assume they are activly oprate similar systems if it is "low-tech" enough to export.
They operate a lot of stuff without disclosing. But this specific model hasn’t been inducted yet. There are other swarm drones in service.
