Thanks. I’m more interested in comparison with quadcopters like DJI Mavic.
I think these type of designs might be going for compactness, the propeller should be detachable to make the whole system fit in a tube for ease of carrying, I doubt they fly better than conventional quadcopters.

Not fly better, longer endurance with the same battery capacity.

An update on a drone that was first seen in model form three years ago. The AR-120FH VTOL UAV has completed its first flight in high-elevation environments. Developed by a subsidiary of AVIC, the drone weighs around 120kg. Propulsion is provided by a heavy oil/gasoline engine.
