I don’t see the issue with trying out gimmicks? How else are you supposed to innovate without trying the ideas out first?

I don't see any problems with them trying it out, rather I'm saying for us it's useful to openly acknowledge them as such and that they aren't worthy of serious analysis or thought.

Why are the engines exposed? Why are piston engines used instead of Wankel engine with low parts count and superior thrust to weight ratio which are also probably easier to scale up? They could reduce the radar signature too.
