A new large turbo-fan driven UAV seen at Zhuhai. It looks like an unmanned transport
I wonder about that.
It kind of looks to me more like a heavy HALE UAV for ISR +/- strike -- the central fuselage "section" looks less like a transport cargo area to me and more like a payload area for sensors etc.
There is also the fact it has a rather large chin EO ball which you wouldn't expect on a transport UAV, and there are also some hardpoints on the wings for additional payloads or even weapons.
Of course, I suppose in theory it can also do the transport mission using that central fuselage payload area, but tbh this looks much more like a heavy ISR UAV with a secondary strike mission. Not bad if that is what it is tbh, it looks quite large so I think it probably must have a lot of internal fuel and endurance.
I wonder what kind of engine it uses.

You are correct. That was a bad take from my rush to post images without having going over them carefully. It's clearly has strike capabilities.

The first Lanying (镧影) R6000 has just rolled off the assembly line. R6000 is a 6-ton tilt-rotor, specs are found in the second image below.
R6000 has arrived at Zhuhai Airshow.
Is that the heavy hanger DF4 series? Does it mean the aircraft can launch heavy missiles
If I would guess, this looks like a drone carrier( the hive module is giving me that vibe) or a drone "strike aircraft". Similar to what Americans are trying with the Mohave. Like Su-25/A-10/Q-5, but a drone version of it.
