I think the manufacturing company did not change ... it's still "made by Beihang", but NORINCO is responsible for the sales.

But I could be wrong.

It has 8 hour endurance. Just 100kg class drone with 15 kg payload

Carries E/O payload for night/day wide area surveillance

Seems like something the coast guard could use for now

But longer term, having a bunch of this around, that's cheap and having long endurance can provide more complete coverage for ASW, I would imagine.
