Here's a new variant of the current service 8x8, featuring new applique armor plates. It also comes in a self-propelled gun variant.

The first three images show an "electrically driven" 8x8 IFV. Likely a hybrid drive train.

The Weibo poster didn't specify what IFV is represented in the last image. But it looks like a light IFV, maybe airborne and/or amphibious.

Electric drives offer a lot today. The tech as matured a huge degree vs where it was once upon a time. With the increasing demands on power not horse power or torque but electrical this would be a major boon as the system allows drawing power directly from the vehicle. Basically even standing still hybrids are generators and in recent conflicts as much as 50% of fuel consumption for military operations was generators.
