oops. im referring to .50cal tipped with explosives. sorry for the confusion....and for the record, is there even such a thing as .50cal tipped with explosives?

Yes, it's called the Raufoss Mk. 211 or simply, .50 API Mk.211 Mod 0 (). Has a steel-tungsten penetrator tipped by 0.85 grams of incendiary followed by 0.84 grams of a HE composition. As far as I know it's the best anti-materiel .50 round available as it not only penetrates a good chunk of armor but can also do considerable damage afterwards as well; though, the XM109 surpasses it in the long range anti-materiel role and perhaps the QLZ-87 surpasses it in the medium-short range anti-materiel role.
