you're from the "Valley of Hedonistan"?? you tell me?? lots of folks here don't understand or appreciate their many freedoms,,, if you didn't pay your taxes Bub, the IRS is not gonna spirit you away for 3 months while they "persuade" you to pay up and apologize now are they? They may throw your butt in jail, but only after "due process".....

come to think of it, where is the President of Interpol???,,,, good grief, you wanna defend that too, you go right ahead??

but we're gonna see more and more of this, anyway, that's all I got to say about that.....

It is a good thing for the Chinese public that she fessed up and pay up after her ordeal. It will be a loss to them if she got away with it like Donald Trump. As for the head of Interpol, he's being given the same treatment as any corrupt official in China. Third world countries naturally have higher corruption rates than developed countries and China cannot afford the "freedom" way to deal with it.

I grew up reading his novel the legend of condor hero Jin Yong the author just passed away. He will sadly missed
Unfortunately i never watch the movies version which is badly made another costume movie

China's most celebrated martial arts novelist Louis Cha Leung-yung, who is better known by his pen name Jin Yong, passed away in Hong Kong Tuesday. He is considered the grandfather of Chinese martial arts fiction. His famous works of fiction enjoy wide popularity among Chinese-speaking countries. He is one of the best-selling Chinese authors with more than 300 million copies of his works sold worldwide.

Jin Yong was a true master, his prose was both exquisite and easy to understand. As a boy growing up in a western country, his novels gave me a link to Chinese legends and traditions.

Back then in Montreal, the only source for his novels was this small library in Chinatown. It was operated by the local Taiwanese association, and I remember they had this big portrait of Jiang Jieshi on the walls. One time, I convinced my mom to let me take a day off school just to visit the library so I can borrow the next series on my reading list. When I got there however, I found out that the library was closed on that very day. I remember I was so disappointed I almost cried on the way home. I had to wait an excruciatingly long 4 days before it was weekend and I could visit the library again!

桃花影落飞神剑,碧海潮生按玉箫

Professor Cha will be sorely missed.
