You got to remember where its coming from. Any actor around the would will choose a non-speaking extra role in a Hollywood film than be the number one actor in their home country. Just like when Jackie Chan said something critical of the US, people were calling to crush him by not watching his movies as if the US made his career. Even though most of the US have never heard of Fan Bingbing, they think the $180 million in taxes she's paying came from American movie audiences watching her movies. It like the Chinese government is stealing American money.

its a good start Bub! she's obviously very talented, I'm sure her many fan's are hurt and angry, Fan has apologized, and I for one, hope that she pays her taxes and huge fines, and goes back to her life, and being the beautiful talented actress she is, that's all?

No, she won't. I'm pretty sure she makes a lot more money doing variety shows in China than 60 second cameos in Hollywood.

They may throw your butt in jail, but only after "due process".....

Offered freedoms in the West? LOLOL Fan BingBing can go work in whichever country she wants; she's rich enough to become a citizen of wherever she applies. She went to the US, shot a little X-Men, then decided that the false freedoms in the US were inferior to the true ones offered to her by her home country, which is why she chose to return to China, even if it costs her a couple hundred million. Well worth the price over anything else out there.

Absolutely, I'll defend that. China has charged him with corruption and money laundering so they arrested him. And I hope we do see more and more of people who commit crimes against China being arrested.
