2008-2009世界新造船市场研究报告9月27日，国家海洋局中国海监总队AC301直升机交付仪式在中航工业昌飞举行。中国海监总队、中航工业直升机、昌飞和直升机所有关领导出席仪式。直升机公司与国家海洋局中国海监总队签署了交接证明书。海监总队领导在讲话中强调，国家海洋局海监总队现役的飞机大部分购自中航工业，以后还将继续加大双方合作力度；希望中航工业直升机、昌飞加强飞行指导工作，加大售后服务保障关注力度，生产出更多、更好的直升机，提升海监总队快速反应能力，增强维护海洋安全的实力。来源：中航工业网站

this basically states that AC301 has been delivered to SOA for CMS. It doesn't really state how many have been delivered. It sounds like a good fit, since AC-301 should be cheap, small (can land on CMS ships) and produced pretty quickly.

What makes You so sure about that ??? First as others pointed out these are simply wt-models or calculations (similar to the several carrier-AEW's) of the NH-90 and the CH/SH-70. As such why would China need two nearly identical in class and performance in parallel ?

a model of option 1 one was among the display in 2008 zhuhai airshow.
