Looks like the tweet got deleted.
The post just said something to the effect of “First time WS-15 installed on J-20”. My guess is the post was referring to the new image we just got, and Oedo deleted it because it wasn’t clear that the engine was the WS-15.That's why it is IMO useful to Male a Screenshot of such posts toi.
Is there any confirmed photos of WS-15 in tests?
There are production plans for WS-10B, C, and D versions set for this year. Still got to wait for several years for WS-15. The quality of AL-31FN series 3 (I guess) is getting worse. Someone found a pair of underwear within an AL-31FN. There was also an accident when several safety checks were not turned on, causing the blade to break apart. Then the respective Russian workers were fired and sent back to engineer school. Still, the quality issues of the AL-31FN series remain unresolved. Sorry, my translation skill is limited.
Could someone translate this picture? I got it from PDF and it seems to be about the (bad) manufacturing quality of the AL-31 engines.
If true, it doesn't surprise me if after seeing the WS-10 being mounted on the last remaining aircraft. (j-10, j-20)
