Any news on how close to production release the so-called new generation engines are?
WS-13 is a domestic version of RD-93, a 4th-gen engine with 7-8TWR. A mid-thrust 5th-gen engine is needed for future light/medium fighters with around 100kN wet thrust and ~9 TWR, preferably approaching 10.
Care to elaborate please?

It was taken down from the flying test bed couple months ago. All kind of rumor spreading on the net.
One guy said the shaft was broken.
So depending how recent this photo is , It show the prototype is back on testing
Why is this picture so blurry ? I understand that sometimes the photos have low quality to hide stuff, but here? i dont think there´s anything to hide.
