OK, some confusion here. What is the WS-20?

Shenyang-Liming's WS10A core based turbofan for Y-20, C919 is called WS118 (WS-118)
Xian's WS15 core based turbofan for Y-20, C919 is called SF-A (What is this? Is this the WS-20?)

SF stands for 商飞, commercial fly

Are you saying that WS-15 is based upon an civilian engine?

No, the other way around ! The WS-15's core will form the basbasis for these new high-bypass civil engines SF-A (and these seems to be a SF-B too).

In return I always fealt that the WS-118 is a hoax or a misinterpretation of something different ... IMO the WS-10-core based civil-engine is the WS-20.

And finalyl there's also the designation CJ-1000 spinning around sometimes ....

But Feng, do you seriously believe the WS-13 really is ready for mass production, with performance and service life rivaling or exceeding RD-93 engines?
service life is not going to be the same to start off, but performance should be the same or better. RD-93 is not very advanced technology. The issue as we saw with WS-10 project is whether or not Guizhou Liyang can actually ramp up the production while no having the same quality issues that WS-10 project first encountered. They are also developing the 9.5 ton engine in this weight class

Since AVIC confirmed the first WS-15 was already delivered way back in 2011 for testing.

Where did it went to?

Surely more than one was built since the project started in 2006. I reckon maybe not less than 10 perhaps by today.
