Very reasonable accounting for tier 1/2 cities, but elsewhere in China 9000 RMB/month of take home income would be considered very high.
That's fair & there are a lot of people making lower than 5000 RMB/month in poorer provinces, but BYD factory jobs even in lower tier cities pay this much. 5000 RMB/month is around the lowest entry level salary in China's Auto industry based on the BYD job postings I have seen.

The economy is off to a strong start for 2026. However this data is for Jan-Feb, so before any Middle East disruptions. We'll likely see worse results later in the year.

Industrial production climbed 6.3% in the January-February period from a year ago, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday. That’s the fastest growth since September, a performance that likely benefited from a surprising surge in exports early this year. Other segments of the economy that are more reliant on domestic demand also got off to a stronger start than expected. Retail sales rose 2.8% in the first two months — more than triple their gain in December — while fixed-asset investment unexpectedly expanded 1.8% after contracting for the first time on record in 2025.

Best not to extrapolate yearly numbers from just two months.
Actually, the data from January-February are exceptions. Because of the Chinese New Year, the numbers for these two months are usually the lowest over the year, so overestimation of the annual output is unlikely to occur.
