Both funny and infuriating. This is not journalism.
There is an important thing to add here. After the events of the last year the Chinese Govt will indeed get more secretive about economic data. What Western media has been outputting had nothing to do with what was happening. "Economic crisis" is a term with meaning. At no point the Chinese economy was close to any type of economic crisis. Yet the media wrote stories of collapse all the time. If the shared data is cherry picked, twisted and overgeneralized to wrote pseudo-religious stories there is no point in sharing it.
Lol who care about the west think about China. Economic data is published for Chinese people. The west can cope all they want but it will not the matter. The harder they cope, the more disappointing for them. Chinese government may need to release even more data just for them to cope lol.
It's called informational attack which can cause economic consequences. Say something a lot of times, and in time you can make the world believe it
Only trouble is that all lies in the world can get dispelled as long as someone visits China. So, more visa-free travel!
