Hi folks, theres so much doom and gloom news about the state of the Chinese economy at the moment, I know a lot of propaganda and disinformation is actively being disseminated by China's foes but I sincerely hope all of this is just false and exaggerated news.

Also, If I may add, I believe these new trends among the youth in China, like the so called Lying flat movement, is of NATO/ Western design, with the intention of negatively influencing Chinese youth and giving them a false sense of hopelessness for the future. Such attitude also plays into the NATO handbook of attempting to convince the future generation of Chinese people to overthrow their government, which gives NATO the opportunity to install a puppet government.

What people are missing is that China wants to get away from the property led booms of the past and wants to redirect resources towards more high tech and strategic ventures like AI, robotics, semiconductors etc. Then the pain that you now see is inevitable.

On the question of contagion that would depend on how deeply other sectors of the economy are invested in real estate.

China should have deleveraged in 2016. It would be lot less painful back then. Don't need to be too worried about Chinese economy. Chinese government has plenty of resources and tools in its disposals to stimulate the economy if needed. At the moment the Chinese government is willing to tolerate the pain in order to deleverage from property and local debts.

The Philippines on the other hand is just swimming along pretty well with their economy huh? With inflation increasing at a pace that puts a lot more financial strain on the already vulnerable and depleted cash strapped people and yet somehow it escapes the OMG the PH is collapsing etc...the same can be said to many other countries that are unfortunately experiencing economic difficulties. It's just PURE PROPAGANDA NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS. There has never been a year where the West and its lackeys did not state or predict the gloomiest of doom for China's economy and year after year the Chinese economy survives, thrives, and continues to grow. Bear in mind, the U.S. government passed a bill that provide $300 MILLION to churn out anti-China narrative and you're seeing that now in action.

The most insidious part about this whole China collapse narrative is how would that benefit the whole world? The Chinese economy just like the Americans is pretty much integrated into the world economy which will have a deleterious effect on many countries much of which relies on China buying a lot of their resources, trade etc. If China was to magically collapse so to are their respective industries and economies. But because a lot of these anti-China zombies are purely driven by their hatred for anything CCP related and the need to support their ideological dogmas ( American democracy, freedumb and fake human rights) the ends justify the means even if that leads to untold suffering for the hundreds of millions of Chinese and billions more around the world. Since in the minds of many anti-China zealots and sheeps the numbers of China's economic numbers are fake when it's positive then real when the numbers support their fantasy: It's sheer lunacy.

Talking down China’s economy by the Western propaganda mouthpieces is a deliberate campaign of disinformation. They feign ignorance of what is actually happening and take any negative number and amplify it while a positive number is deliberately ignored. While the exact opposite is done in Western economies where negative numbers are ignored or given little coverage while positive numbers are exaggerated to paint a rosy picture. It’s part of their information warfare campaign against China.

No, the problem is opposite. Laying flat is originated in the western society as the "silent quiting" movement. They are merely projecting their own problem on us.

The process has already begun in 2021.
