I think it's fair to characterise the audience view as roughly 50:50 and the panel view as "we don't know" or China will become high-income if it follows the Singapore model

But why should he watch the video??? You posted it without comment yourself! I watched about 30 seconds, and like everybody else who has commented, I'm convinced is 100% shit. It's all about some special American ability to solve problems because "we have freedom", as if China doesn't solve a miriad problems on a daily basis, and as if the US isn't stuck on quite a few seemingly unsolvable problems today.

I watched the video but I didn't want to leave a comment behind without sullying or essentially priming you or anyone else's opinions on the video. I posted the video to see if what most or some of you who chooses to watch the video think of his (Peterson) assessments. Maybe, by some chance some here can appreciate Peterson's rationale even If many or all of his points are wrong.

I wasn't aware that the infamous Jordan B. Peterson is now a renowned geopolitical-economics expert and Sinologist.

The video is very striking, as it looks like a parody, but it is real

at this point in the movie I would not know what words to use to express my bewilderment.

• Demographic collapse
• Real estate collapse
• Collapse due to corruption
• Stagnation then collapse because Chinese can't innovate
• Covid lockdown induced collapse

Basically the same talking points regurgitated over and over again ad infinitum.

1. Doesn't speak a single word of Mandarin
2. Has never been to China
3. Sources all his information about China from MSM, Gordan Chang, /r/China, and neolib think tanks

I defeated him anyway. He's slightly above average in chess. Rating about 1700.
