China has unbundled its pipeline network from the gas majors. They did this some 2 years ago.

They could just do the same to the oil pipeline network if they did not do this already.
Russia has a fully native gas pipeline industry. This includes the pipes themselves, the steel used to make them, the gas turbines to pump the gas, etc.

Also Chinese companies might not have all the leading edge oil processing equipment but they clearly have enough of it or the Iran trade deal would never have been possible in the first place. Iran has been sanctioned to hell and back for like 50 years.
Doesn't PipeChina also cover oil pipelines?

Is there a max capacity set for Power of Siberia II, or are they just gonna up it now since it hasn't been built yet?

@dfrtyhgj now this will affect us immediately, most of our oil imports came from China, as the local refinery close shop due high cost of operation. Shell and Chervon (Caltex) had left the refinery business and only Petron a local refiner stay while losing money. Now from what I'm seeing since China has excess refining capacity They are preparing to stock just in case WW3 start up. I hope not, BUT seeing the craziness happening in the Collective West with the discovery of physical evidence of a BIO LAB in Ukraine by Russia. There is now a justification for a wider conflict.
