Some regions are using stuff (pesticide?) that's banned in China. But due to recent events they are forgiven for now.

I think part of the reason for China relaxing the conditions for Russian wheat imports was lower than expected wheat crop in China this season.

Not surprising. I've been following Damien Ma on Twitter (he's the head of a China-focused think tank) and he's been saying this for years.

Most Westerners haven't internalised that the fantasy of "decoupling" is a train that has long since left the station.

PBOC is trying its hardest to hold down the Yuan vs. USD. As more people like the Russians want Yuan, it will break through eventually.

Let's see how resolute the US will be with tariffs. Maybe they will fight to the last American middle class. LOL
