I think recovery is putting it lightly, things haven swung to the other end of the extreme -- pork prices have been plummeting. While this is good for the consumers, pig raisers are suffering.

But also good time to rebuild the stock for the strategic pork reserves and of other reserves.... From all the things released from the reserves last year, definitely good timing this time round.

The Chinese government has been stockpiling frozen pork for the last few month to both replenish its reserve and keep prices from falling. Definitely, pork prices plummeting is very good timing to keep inflation in check.

I wouldn’t want to touch anything frozen for more than one year but zombie meat as they are called could probably last decades.
