As an American, it is looking fucking bleak as shit.
I still think the Americans can turn it around.

The key to that is internal, and not external, IMHO.

China may be growing more powerful by the day, but there is no way or no desire for China to replace the United States in the world. China does not want any of that. Who needs those headaches.

China still wants good relations with most of it neighbours and develop new markets for commerce. Besides that, the real action is all inside China itself.

President Biden passing a massive stimulus bill for infrastructure upgrades is a good first step.

The dollar tanking is not that big a deal I think. Since Nixon removed the dollar from the gold standard, $35 to the price of an ounce of gold today, that is 50X times. That already is an epic tank. Gold probably going up some more too with the money printing.

That really is the key factors. Stop the money printing, but the economy has to grow before they can do that, and try to clean up the swamp like President Trump promised. Eventually, America will do this. The sooner the better.

To be able to focus on internal, a nation must be united
the us is too fractured and divided to do that
Any policy enacted by democrats will be stymied by republicans and vice versa
infrastructure building require patience, long term planning and military budget cuts to be effective
No way will it work on american democrazy

In terms of the "big cycle" of empires America has passed its peak, for someone as aged as Biden, he should know all about "managing the decline" and US would be lucky to slow down the collapse instead of take about "OWNING the 21st Century"...

Boris johnson said he was “fervently Sinophile” and determined to improve ties “whatever the occasional political difficulties”.

Does britain about to turncoat on the us? lol
So much for quad solidarity
Right now australia must feel like complete and total moron haha
UK wants trade concessions from China. And at the same time work with the US to contain China. Exact same strategy the EU is adopting.

Let the Xinjiang people people that the US want to take this away from them and turn them into afghanistan.
XinJiang is a beautiful place.
