I understand how you would come to this conclusion. Again, you are correct that most actions taken by the west politically is to undermine and damage China, especially from a government source. Most on this board would call you a cynical conspiracy nut, but that is because they do not have your acumen.

But I assure you, this is no ploy by the west to undermine China, as
#1 they don't believe in God anymore, evidenced by the fact they cannot see how their disbelief is leading them to their current trouble, and immediate ruin in the future.

#2 if they are intentionally trying to "hoist" Christianity on China in the hopes of causing China trouble, then THEY ARE MAKING THE BIGGEST STRATEGIC BLUNDER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.

For Christianity is more blessing than 100 giant oil fields together in Xingjian is to China.

Also because Christianity is waning in the West especially in Europe, who's going to throw tens, maybe hundreds, of billions of dollars into the Vatican?

Don't worry about the vatican having some foreign influence on Chinese believers, Mace. I understand where you're coming from and appreciate the strategic concern you have, but this one is not a political game. It is not a strategic game played by the governments either.

It is just China's time to receive the blessing the west, INCLUDING the vatican, have thrown away because they think they're too good for.

As for the Vatican receiving money from Christians, I have given more to causes and charities than I can count, but not one dime has ever gone to the vatican. Why not? Because I'm a Christian, not a Catholic. China is going through a Christian revival, not a Catholic one, thank God.

Let's not be delusional as if a Christian China will be respected by the West. Look at Africans and the slaves imported to the West. No other people has had their cultures torn away from them and replaced with the Christian religion and values. Do we see equality and respect?

Who cares about respect in the eyes of the west? Mace, listen to me carefully.

They will soon be irrelevant. They will be busy eating each other. China won't even have to engage them to win.

This isn't some public relations campaign for the Chinese to finally gain some respect and approval in the hearts of the west.

WE ARE WAY PAST THAT STAGE NOW. This is the endgame, and China's decision on whether or not it will receive Christianity, will decide how strong the Lord will make the wind behind China's sail. It can be a very tough, bloody road for China to achieve mediocracy without God's favor, or it can be the astonishment the rest of the world will envy for the next 3 decades.

Fact is the Christians are at a critical point in their existence. China isn't in the God written bible no matter what spin they put out there.

Christians will always exist, we are not particularly bothered by how many us there are. We rejoice for others when they find the Lord, but are not bothered how many of us exist. It does me no personal gains whether there are 1 billion other Christians or if I am the only one on Earth. My bottom line is not improved in either case.

And China is in the bible, always was.

For hundreds of years they could explain away the world imbalance and misrepresentation in their favor as the Christian God favoring those that follow him. How do they explain heathen China today?

That's why "they" don't, Mace. When was the last time you heard a mainstream news media praising the fact that there are more Christians in China now (in absolute numbers) than the USA? Much more so in Europe.

"They" don't explain anything, because "they," those in the charge in the west, either hate or don't care about Christianity themselves.

China today is no more heathen and the USA is. The USA is more heathen than China is today.

China has experienced 30 years of growth. The fastest rise in standard of living in the history of the world. They're certainly not going to admit that God favors the Chinese over them.

They don't, that's why no mainstream media will ever touch this.

You will never see headlines like "Immoral America faces ruin while Christian China on the rise."

That's what you tried to say in your previous post, and as I had pointed out in my previous post, the interesting part is that ALL rising and falling powers had in common their embrace of biblical truths in their rise and turning away from God in their fall.

You sound just as sure about the infalibility of their religious beliefs as those who believed in pagan religions, or other religions around the world, if you get what I mean.

It's sad, but it's true that those who don't know God in their lives are not aware of the truth.

I once subscribed to the same belief, not knowing how much I was missing.

Rome certainly wasn't sacked by bible thumping barbarians, and curiously, it declined into oblivion after converting...

Curiously, the barbarians all converted to Christianity (from the Germans to the Francos) soon afterwards.

Even more curious, Rome rose to the peak of its power in Europe after converting to Christianity.

Still more curious is the fact that Rome, as a national policy, aimed to TERMINATE Christianity before it wholesale, and overnight converted to it. Incredible how God works...

And after having risen to greatness after converting? The unholy and godless emperors like Nero came out and the Rome was ruined. I guess to you Nero was a sign of Rome embracing biblical truths instead of turning away from God?

In the long run rationalism and atheism are the necessary elements for the development of a scientifically developed socioeconomic system, otherwise religious creep will invariably undermine any such developments and progress.

In the long run, rationalism and science will lead to belief in God, as atheism requires too much faith to ignore the evidence that God made His creation.

Scientifically developed socioeconomic system? Even the idea of it means the one pursuing it retarded.

Something develop naturally, the more scientifically you try to outdo yourself, the more pain you're buying everybody. Sigh.... lest we forget to add those feet when painting a snake.

We'll the general problem with the theme of your message I see is that's it's easy to tell everyone to ignore the extremists within Christianity. But the fact is I see no Christian questioning or challenging these people. It's the same God all of you supposely are doing his deed. So shouldn't you be worried about the kind of message these people give that reflect upon the Christian God and all Christians? And since there's nothing of the sort, it says something about why they are not challenged. First of all there's a heirarchy of who's more important within Christians and some will get screwed over others.
