I suppose sacrafices must be made for social and economic stability... -sigh-

I just hope the PRC doesn't become a massively christian country like the US or anything. At least it manages to make people a bit more moral and such but that just shows a failure of the human psyche than anything. Hopefully China and the Chinese people can eventually achieve all this without the need for religion.

The USSA has ceased being a Christian nation LONG LONG AGO. Hence it's decline in power, influence, wealth, prestige, and soon, survivability.



Faith in the God of the Bible is not a failure of a human psyche. Rather, ignorance of the Creator's presence and purpose for His creation, is the ultimate failure of humanity. Nations and peoples make this mistake again and again and again throughout history, and will continue to make it until the end times. Just look at the USSA now, and look again ~5 years from now. See history play out live: what happens when a group of people, blessed by God with overwhelming power and wealth to the degree that they are by far the most dominant Alpha their peers have seen in the past 1000 years, gets seemingly bit*h slapped by betas and charlies that are far weaker, and suffers a terminal and HUMILIATING end when there are, analytically, no other country that can challenge it.




Why would I hope for such collective madness? Funny how, in the record of history, any country, despite how small, unassuming, or unimpressive in size and knowledge will grow to prosperity and dominating power in RELATIVELY short periods of time (viewed from history) when it follows the decrees set out by the God of the Bible.

EVEN FUNNIER, or tragic, EVERY country in the annals of history, despite how strong, wealthy, and dominating it is (uh hum, usa), have always died a humiliating, atrocious, and TO THE UNOBSERVANT MASSES, a sudden end to its greatness, if not existence.



Look at how dominating China was in comparison to the West 250 years ago. Europe was backwards technologically and tiny in population and resources compared to China. Yet somehow, in a century, they almost finished off China.

Look at how backwards Japan was in comparison to China throughout history. Yet, look at how it humiliated China in WWII.

Look at how weak, backwards, and small the USA was 250 years ago.
Think about this one, let it sink in.

And 200 years later?

Surpassed Europe. Not a big deal, it's "only" Europe.

Surpassed China. In technology, in military, in influence, in wealth, in size, in prosperity, in every imaginable measure.

China had a >4,500 year head start over the USA, and had put it to great use. The Chinese don't mess around and the things they had accomplished during those 4 millenniums had put them SO SO FAR AHEAD OF THE USA by the time the USA was finally in existent, that it would have required a miracle for the USA to have caught up with China in less than 800 years.

And look what happened in just 200 years?


AND NOW, haha, after having achieved the miraculous superiority over China, and everybody else, in just a few years from now, it will give it all back. Perfectly timed with its "liberation" from the biblical faith and principle it had embraced and followed during its ascent.


If the Chinese can finally come to God after all these years, China WILL BECOME THE MOST DOMINANT COUNTRY ON EARTH WITHIN 15 YEARS FROM NOW.

God does not play favorites, He blesses and punishes according to those who have made the choice to honor Him and seek Him, not according to national boundaries or what continent a people is rooted in.

As a simple foil to your premise, history reveals that civilizations have risen to greatness, and fallen into obscurity, long, long, loooong before Christianity was around, and will continue to do so long after Christianity itself is displaced by some other new religion. . Besides, even your example of Japan proves within even recent history that a nation doesn't have to be Christian to succeed. .

The observation that civilizations rise and fall is obvious and can be seen even by the slowest of mind, and is not the singular point made in this discussion. THE SINGULAR POINT OF THIS DISCUSSION IS THE SEEMINGLY MIRACULOUS COINCIDENCE THAT THOSE NATIONS WHO EMBRACE AND OBEY THE BELIEFS OF THE BIBLE, WILL RISE ABOVE OTHERS AND PROSPER, THEN DOMINATE.

And when these great nations, allegedly superior races with superior intellects, abandon the biblical principles? They get humiliated by other people who do seek after God.

This is God's way of telling those who knew Him, but have turned away from Him, through envy of those who are now enjoy the blessings of God, that turning away from Him was a mistake, especially for those who knew Him.

Said COUNTLESS kings, queens, monarchs, nobles, dictators, intellectual giants (allegedly), emperors, bankers, and idiots throughout history.

They have been "displaced" by others, the works of their labor have long been discarded, and the fruits of their sweat enjoyed by other men.

But the Bible, Old and New Testament, stands still. Will continue to stand.

You will die and fade away. The works of your hands will disappear and be forgotten, as will everyone reading this post. But God and His words will stand still, because He IS.

Japan has not dominated and lead. Never had, and in my own personal opinion, as opposed to the truths I had posted above, never will Japan dominate any of its peers.

They will have enough to eat, but will not be blessed with the status of being "the head."

400 million Christians in three decades? Pure propaganda. Just another excuse to interfere with China. "China oppresses 400 millions Christians" will be the rallying call in the West. Also because Christianity is waning in the West especially in Europe, who's going to throw tens, maybe hundreds, of billions of dollars into the Vatican? If the situation were reversed that a foreign religion was demanded protection and free access anywhere in the West and it was demanded that any Westerner practicing that religion was loyal first to a non-Western religious leader in a country their governments were suspicious of, you would see how they don't believe in freedom of religion.

Let's not be delusional as if a Christian China will be respected by the West. Look at Africans and the slaves imported to the West. No other people has had their cultures torn away from them and replaced with the Christian religion and values. Do we see equality and respect? Fact is the Christians are at a critical point in their existence. China isn't in the God written bible no matter what spin they put out there. For hundreds of years they could explain away the world imbalance and misrepresentation in their favor as the Christian God favoring those that follow him. How do they explain heathen China today? China has experienced 30 years of growth. The fastest rise in standard of living in the history of the world. They're certainly not going to admit that God favors the Chinese over them. So they have stake in a Christian claim over China and use that as an excuse on why China is rising despite what some Western experts say is the end of Western unilateralism of the world we are witnessing today.

You sound just as sure about the infalibility of their religious beliefs as those who believed in pagan religions, or other religions around the world, if you get what I mean. Rome certainly wasn't sacked by bible thumping barbarians, and curiously, it declined into oblivion after converting...

Oh but they certainly did dominate, and they definitely can be, "the head". The only problem is some strange aversion they have to building up their military. Hmmm, might have something to do with a very human security arrangement with a certain other country... Among other reasons .

And besides, speaking of America, I'm not sure where you're getting the notion that America is somehow any less religious now than it was in the past...

Because the Chinese leadership, being the wise and practical men they are, see that correlation between God's blessing, as miraculous and inexplicable as they are by science or geo-strategic means, and a people who seek Him and honor Him.

The Chinese leadership wants to win, and they know the cannot refuse the Lord and expect to come out on top of everybody else. They tried that 100+ years ago, and lost it ALL.

This time, someone else will lose it all. A country who thinks it is too far ahead of his competitor in military applications and technology, too entrenched in the financial sorcery of the system it created from its own deviousness, that even if it has turned away from God, it can still fend off disaster because it is too strong for God to ruin.
