There won't be a war with Iran. Never. There is no "Allied Support" for that ( read NATO support), even though Arabs and Israeli support exists. Furthermore, there won't be support of China, Russia and India along with those of non-aligned nations as a war with Iran tramples with the energy independence of these countries. There is also no home support. Trump came to power seeking to stop endless wars.
China can be seen buying American farm produce and bolstering Chinese IP protection rights as to meet "its end of the deal". But people are forgetting that China was very much affected due to the Swine fever outbreak and subsequent pork shortage. That caused inflation that would negatively affect the lower middle class and the poor households of China. You always take care of these segments of your society as a responsible developing country.
China has always talked about opening up its Financial market for some time. The opening up wouldn't be quick. It would be on China's own terms. This is the part where i'm interested in most. What exactly is China going to open up to the west within its Financial Market ? We have to wait and see.
China has bought time for bolstering its supply chain efficiency. US has forfeited its First Strike to the Blind spot advantages because of its political conditions (elections). China has dragged on the deal to ensure that the US caves in due to the China tariffs negative hit on MidWest/Great Plains farmer voter base. This year (2020) will give China time to rest and formulate new tactics.
What do you people (pro-China members here) really want ? A Trump presidency that has very weak international support or a Democrat presidency that calls for an Allied Response to China? Isn't Trump actually good for China ?
