The 18th Huabiao Film Awards, postponed due to COVID-19, combined with the 19th edition of the festival, was held on Tuesday at the National Indooor Stadium in Beijing.

The biennial awards, instituted in 1957, are as prestigious as the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers when it comes to domestic films.

Hundreds of celebrities in the filmmaking industry arrived at the red carpet gala, adding much glitz and glitter to one of the country’s top film events.

Recent photos show sections of the Great Wall that's partly submerged in Panjiakou reservoir in Kuancheng Manchu autonomous county of Chengde, Hebei province.



A section of the Great Wall was reflected on the water's surface recently because of a lowered water level in Panjiakou reservoir in Kuancheng Manchu autonomous county of Chengde, Hebei province. Some magnificent scenery resulted.



The Xifengkou section of the wall, built during the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644), had been partly submerged after the reservoir was build in the 1970s. The 8th China Robotop and Intelligent Economic Talents Summit kicked off in Yuyao of Zhejiang province on Tuesday.

The 3-day event focuses on the core technology and application of robots as well as the digitalization of the industry. On Wednesday's opening ceremony, 27 projects in robotics, intelligent manufacturing and digital economy were signed, with a total investment of over 20.3 billion yuan ($2.87 billion).

The 2023 Zhongguancun Forum, or ZGC Forum, featuring frontier science and innovation achievement, including artificial intelligence, quantum science, brain computer interface, kicked off in Beijing on Thursday.
