Having been hit with a plethora of BB's and ball barrings It Hurts but is hardly lethal.

Not if they can shoot a metal ball bearing to 200m. I think they've simply discovered that they can bought and modify shelf parts of BB air guns to make them quasi-weapons, by making them perform outside factory set safety limits. (i.e. air pressure is limited but the barrel itself can withstand higher pressure so they removed the limit, maybe even replaced the barrel tube)

Has the added benefit of anonymity as you can't really apply ballistic forensics to BBs (if such a system has been developed at all), and also you can't prove that someone committed a crime simply because they possessed a BB gun. This and the authentic look of some BB weapons probably is what leads to the crackdown.

A off the Shelf Air Rifle has a Range of 200 meters in good conditions. and your never going to get that velocity or power from the pistols. look at the numbers present to. a few Rifles but mostly pistols.

Unless you planning on changing the interior of the pistol with a lot more robust metal tube for the barrel you're only asking for trouble as that round will explode in your hand.

Si mi amigo. ¡Hay muchas mujeres muy hermosas! Sofia Vergara.....................Sorry my mind just wandered off.
That is true! However, I would not like to eat or see the same food every day. Every nation have women that are incredibly beautiful and different than what you are accustom to seeing. As the French would say: Via la différence!

Let’s get back on topic. Popeye’s amazing pictures of daily Chinese life.

High powered ones can kill. Once upon a time, one didn't have to get a police permit or have a gun licence in NZ, but ever since a .22 airgun was used to kill a policeman, the procedure became the same as applied to purchasing high powered hunting rifles shotguns etc.
