Take a second look at the camo patterns, first there not the same. You have M81 woodland pattern which was American but widely copied including by the PRC for a period. Then you have a US Army ACU . Neither are currently issued to the PLA or PAP, and both are American based. More likely is this is military surplus. Both sets can be bought pretty cheap on the open market and make good work clothes as they are designed for abuse.

I agree it's a donkey or ass. Perhaps the word donkey did not translate.

I do not write the captions. But I do at times clarify them. Many times the Chinese get words that are both singular and plural all sorts of goofed up. Such as equipment. Many times I've seen it written as equipments..luggage..the same thing..I've seen it written luggages.

Oh well life goes on.
