As one of millions of Chinese people studying or working abroad who meticulously selected presents before their trips home for the Chinese Lunar New Year, Cui Zishan, a young Chinese woman in Vancouver, Canada, had trouble picking out a suitable gift for her father. She had been extra careful in finding the right special gift in the North American country. By scanning through the list of items they are buying, we can see a unique cross-section of Chinese consumers' taste. The presents being purchased this year vary from daily necessities and luxury products to high-tech products.(Source: China Daily)

Not sure who's the final champion. One thing I've been admiring those lion dancers is that the two guys cooperate just like they were one, thus makes the lion like a living. Cambodia does have some very decent lion dance also though not good enough to participate in international contest. I took these photos when I was "patrolling" Phnom Penh during Chinese New Year back to 2005.

Yes, but these guys are just volunteers and I have to say they're pretty good! I volunteer to participate in a Lion dance team once (Tail end of course) and we practiced for about 3 weeks just to do the basic moves. My team didn't even do any of those hopping on top the poles or large ball. I'm sure if Cambodia puts in the money to support a professional team year round they can compete internationally. As you notices in the professional contest the team lions are very well made. The eye brows and mouth movements are better than the amateur.
