We're going off topic:Chinese women are more likely. I don't have hard stats. But going by circumstantial data, it's hands down obvious. They are willing to marry down provided the man is not their own kind. Just saying.
But let me say this, that's not so much a problem with being a Chinese woman but rather being Asian in general. besides I've also seen plenty of Asian men dating White women simply because they were white despite them appearing to be rather homely. Personally, I am ambivalent but think interracial marriage can be a good thing makes offspring who a more culturally aware and genetic diverse and the fears about losing ethnic and cultural identity are overblown. The Chinese outnumber Americans and Asians outnumber Europeans, if anything...it would be the Asians assimilating Whites, especially since Women tend to be more keen on imposing their own culture and identity on the culture.
Much of false belief un-attractiveness of Asian men amongst non-Asians particularly among White women are no more stereotypes and general timidness generated by Asian men themselves. The greatest bias woman have is on assertiveness and confidence NOT the color of your skin or culture, besides many non-Asian women don't know how to Asian men b/c they have relatively little experience with them but . Even in dating sites like or studies have shown Asian men rank in the middle amongst racial preferences amongst ALL ethnicities and I know plenty of AMWF relationships and few White women who date exclusively Asian men.
Early 20th century imperialism and imposition foreign powers of their "civilizing" has imprinted in the minds and beliefs of many other cultures and ethnic groups of inferiority. China is particularly worse because of its cultural and historical legacy and the sense of loss and insecurity during the transition from a regional hegemony to a nation-state and modernity imposed by the West, Russia and Japan. However that was the problem the inability to look forward and instead dwelling upon old airs and beliefs much like the Qing and Westernization. Sometimes I think the greatest gift of being Chinese is also its greatest curse having a deep and influential heritage which often cause people dwelling upon it instead of being willing to learn and adapt for the future. As Han Yu and later Mao said: “There is no construction without destruction.” We must accept change sometimes even if means moving away from some of cultural traditions and notions.
The West got where it is now by integrating other cultures and and having a free exchanges of ideas and beliefs instead of closing itself from technological and scientific advancements as well as the culture interactions that came from it.
