In this photo taken Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, a peasant pauses from working near cave dwellings that characterize the region where Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping used to live during his youth when he was sent to learn peasant virtues at Liangjiahe village in northwestern China's Shaanxi province. Xi, 59 and the country's vice president is expected to take over as head of the ruling party in November, 2012, before becoming president in 2013 of an increasingly assertive China. The Liangjiahe years are among scant details known about Xi's life and personality partly because he himself chronicled them as a key formative experience. (AP Photo/Ng Han Guan)

A Chinese border trade boat is seen docking at the North Korean banks of Sinuiju, unloading goods to North Korea, October 23, 2012. China on October 20, 2012 urged North and South Korea to exercise restraint and safeguard peace on the peninsula, after the communist north threatened to fire on the south. Impoverished North Korea said on Friday it would attack if Seoul allowed activists to drop anti-northern leaflets on its territory, in its most strident warning against its long-time foe for months. | A student shares her experience of using Windows 8 as she speaks to the media during a Microsoft promotional event ahead of the launch of Windows 8, in Shanghai October 23, 2012. There was once a time when the launch of a new Windows operating system was a huge deal for the technology departments in many businesses. Not anymore. Microsoft Corp's release of Windows 8 on Friday is likely to be a non-event for most companies -- and some experts say many may never adopt it. REUTERS/China Daily

I got the impression Windows 8 is going to suck big time.

there was a feature on that Good Morning America.. And the users both liked it and dis-like it. One woman found windows 8 hard to navigate..The others had lukewarm responses to windows 8.

If you watched the movie Idiocracy you'll understand this. They are dumping it down when no one is even asking them to do it.

That's crazy, Microsoft is leaving themselves open for other competitors like Linux and maybe even Google to catch up.

Among the operating system Microsoft That I have used and dislike are: Windows Me, Windows Vista and perhaps Windows 8 will be the next. Actually, I skipped the above two Windows. Windows XP was my most favorite OS, and now it is replaced by Windows 7.

Yeah Windows XP was the best, Windows 7 (which I'm using now) isn't too bad, but I remember a lot of people got pissed at Window's Vista. I'm not too sure about Window's 8 though.
