Photo taken on April 16, 2019 shows a Jingdezhen porcelain once exported to the United States during a ceramics exhibition at China Ceramics Museum in Jingdezhen, east China's Jiangxi Province. Nearly 300 export porcelains, later bought back to China by collectors, were displayed at the ceramic exhibition. Most of the exhibits were made in Jingdezhen, a world famous "ceramics capital". I own porcelain plates with similar characteristics bought from a dealer of antiquities(sadly out of business now). Thought they were beautiful pieces but have no idea how they can be properly appraised. Very exciting to see similar pieces of porcelain posted here. Perhaps I own a piece of history. LOL.
