Even the C919/c919-800 have a domestic market to fulfill in the thousand... A nice stepping stone.

C929 have a domestic market in the multiple of thousands.

Exporting is nice but cutting up the domestic market from Boeing and Airbus is already a big thorn in their side.

Asian market is one of the biggest market out there and you need incredible facilities just to fulfill all the demands there.. No need for American ot European markets to pump out hundreds of airliners a year anyway. Engines production need to follow the curve.
major highlight of 15th Five year plan will be COMAC.

first trailer has dropped by Xinhua news agency and the video starts with C929.

AG600M's belly doors. I believe these are used to release water.

It turns out that the MA700 may actually have fallback options of using WJ-6C engines, with nacelles similar to the WJ-6 engines on the KJ-600.

But thankfully, this never came to pass, and MA700 eventually uses the new indigenous turboprop engines (i.e. WJ-10/AEPX00) for its (subsequent) test and evaluation flights.

instead choosing of older and reliable engines, they opted for new brand new Propulsion..i like this new approach.

the path is clear for Y-30 as well.
