This video can answer the question that has puzzled me for many years, which is why AFT-11 (HJ-11) has not been widely used.
Only the air assault units of the airborne army are the main users of this ATGM(then it was replaced by HJ-12）. In addition, only the reconnaissance battalion of the 112th Division of the army experimentally equipped it.

HJ-11 is a kind like the product of the PLA's light-weight heavy weapon tradition, but the problem is that infantry still difficult to survive from the 12.7 shots, while vehicle protection is getting better. Finally, NLOS ATGM (HJ-12) put it to an end
