personally i think a more important question is: can h6k carry 12 of them in one sitting
There was a rumor that China was developing a stealth supersonic cruise missile designated as (Hongniao) HN-2000 . Do anyone know any update about that?

The one on the J-16 was a mock up while the one on the JH-7 was an actual munition.
Actually it’s more likely the case that one is powered and one is unpowered.
1000kg - that is not heavy at all.
wang shiyi said in one of the podcast that its range is 1000km, if true that weight is very light
totally conceivable to see H6k carrying 10, which means a regiment would launch 120+ missiles in one strike from relatively safe position and able to reach any point in Japan or Phillipines
