apparently, YY-20 can carry close to 100t of fuel
More than previous report. I remember 75 was what they stated before for refueling.
Both are 1-5-1, Y-20 indeed look more cramped but picture angle can be deceiving. Do we have numbers on payload floor size ?Comparison between the C-17 & Y-20 when they were transferring the troops. The C-17's body is wider than the Y-20's.

You can see from the picture of the C-17's 5-seat rows, they are slitted into 3 & 2, and the seats are bulkier with arm rests as well. Definitely, the C-17 body is wider than the Y-20's.Both are 1-5-1, Y-20 indeed look more cramped but picture angle can be deceiving. Do we have numbers on payload floor size ?
C-17 cargo compartment is 27m long by 5.5 m wide and 3.76 m high
Scratching for information on Y-20, have seen 20 m long x 4.5m wide x 4m high, not sure about it. Type 99 are 3.7 m wide so they fit like intended but it's tight.
