Not sure what airshow is this, but that sign can't be mistaken. Looks like the WS-20 engined Y-20 will be available for export.
Not many competition in this space too, C-17 is out of production, Il-76 production rate is way too low, Kawasaki C-2 is almost half the size.
The Il-76 production line is not running at full capacity right now. It could be producing 2x or 3x the aircraft per year.
The reason they aren't producing it faster is lack of orders.

There might be impacts due to capacity constraints in engine manufacturing however. Since the factory which makes them is going to be incredibly busy making engines for the MC-21 in like 2 years time.

Because the Chinese military industrial complex is terrible at marketing.
Disappointing If thats actually the reason
KAI brought just a MC-X model, it garnered attention more than what Koreans expected
Funny thing, doesn't even exist

I don't think the marketing of the two are connected especially given that they are in such different weight classes. They are not exactly competitors..

But why not unveil at a product meant for export at DubaiAirshow where the entire world of aviation is present
A bit odd
I don't remember seeing US or France marking their aircrafts with a designation "E" to attract foreign customers in any airshow. Both models in question are Y-20 with WS-20, same variant. There is no export variant untill there is a signed contract from a foreign buyer.

Also, people who have the deep wallet in an airshow aren't shy to ask anything on the display.

Some photos of the pulse production line of the Y-20. Given how the engines are still WS-18 instead of WS-20, these photos should not be recent.

Here's one screenshot from a gif posted by the same guy, showing a Y-20 fuselage being moved around on a large platform mover truck.
