OMG, is this legit? Much larger in size than Y-20+D-30?

Of course this is legit. We've known for almost a decade that Y-20 would eventually switch to WS-20 turbofans. We first saw photos of WS-20 being tested on an Il-76 testbed more than six years ago, and images of Y-20 paired with WS-20 emerged two years ago. All the developments have been well covered on this very thread, accompanied by plenty of photos. Did you just find out about this now?

China's Northwestern Polytechnic University is already working on the BWB flying wing concept as early as 2019, and that could be just one of the examples regarding the study and R&D works being done on the BWB flying wing concept in China.

Besides, the USAF is already pursuing the BWB concept for their next-generation transport aircraft, whereby full-scale prototype of the transport aircraft based on BWB is planned to be completed by 2027.

So it isn't really a surprise if China is also taking a deep look into this design concept. Perhaps China don't even need the Y-50 after all.
