Generally they don’t. A few years back there was a foreign visit to India where in Xi was offered a Helicopter ride as part of the trips itinerary was 57km away. but refused it in favor of a ride by his Hongqi armored limousine.India's helicopter crash has left me wondering, what helicopter does China use for VIP transport?
According to the Ministry of Foreign affairs, CCP leadership travels by Plane, Train and car. In photos Xi has been seen by Plane Boeing 747-400 and 747-8i in Air China livery. By HSR with a private car shared with Vladimir Putin, By Toyota Coaster and presumably armored Golden Dragon shuttle bus. As well of course Hongqi limousines.
That’s not to say that they couldn’t do it if the need arises. As @iantsai pointed out they have a substantial number of helicopters available. For the PLANAF we have seen them fly navalized Z8s for the PLAAF they are know to have a small rarely seen fleet of (formerly) Eurocopter (Airbus) Super Pumas.
