China's transport, tanker & heavy lift aircraft

My bad. I was wondering why they would painstakingly fake a 20 sec video like that so I asked a few questions about it. I suppose the increase in clicks/subscriptions/revenue are worth the high effort, since fake videos require more effort than Photoshop/deepfakes

What are you rambling on about? It's a laughably bad CG video, probably done by a prepubescent boy in less an hour.

I am going off topic here, but CGI has a steeper learning curve than Photoshop. It generally requires some level of expertise for more than a 3-sec video, hence I was just commenting on video subscription reward/effort - as compared to a teenager who can rack up big views for a well done Photoshop. I digress.

No offense, but who cares.

I don't want to sound too elitist, but I think we need to establish there's a certain minimum threshold that we hope our members can attend to when considering posting content whether it's an article, or a video or a picture.

In this case, it should have been obvious to anyone who had done a bit of background research and who had viewed a certain amount of PLA and general military pictures that that particular clip was obviously CGI, especially in the context of the specific video it was a part of.

If it wasn't immediately obvious that particular video clip wasn't a CGI, then I would advise people to have a more thorough reading and observation period first of the existing archive of pictures and videos that exist and to familiarize oneself with a minimum threshold of knowledge first.
Most members here who have been here a while are happy to field new questions, but if they're so barn door simple and obvious like that then the contributing individual should probably consider doing some additional research and observation first.

I apologize. I did some checking and still couldn't make sense of it, hence I asked a few questions together with the video. I apologize, and I am not a plane expert and have way less expertise than many of you.

I'm not sure what your question is.

There are two main types of aerial refuelling, boom versus probe+drogue.

Aircraft with boom refuelling have receptacles on the dorsal side of the aircraft, that are usually low profile and open up to receive the boom.

Aircraft with probe refuelling have probes that extend out from the aircraft usually on the side of the aircraft near the front or near the nose, either fixed or retractable.

In the case of stealthy aircraft, aircraft with boom receptacles have extra care to make them stealthier, while aircraft with probe refuelling have retractable probes that are fully covered.
Examples of stealthy aircraft with probe refuelling are J-20, Su-57, and F-35B/C

Seems more legit to me, it was posted on weibo on Nov 21st, but only noticed somehow now.

The aircraft looks more consistent with the rumours; i.e.: it was in primer particularly.
Chase plane and all as well.

Its been 3 weeks since Nov 21st. Has any other pictures emerged? If not, is it normal to a picture of a prototype plane being released and then, no more for a long time?
