Somehow the discussion kept reminding of the Chinese soldier in this video (2:29) saying "sir" ("yes") in respond to his leader. To me, I couldn't hear the "sh" sound. :)

you are right, he said "si" instead of "Shi" because he is not from area around Beijing.

View attachment 15520 This is the photo of the day over Chinese internets, supposed to be the 5th air frames (4th flying example). But look again... it has 3 sets of landing gear!!!

I understand double exposal errors on negative films, but on digital photo?

Yes indeed ! A really strange error.

Anyway, Huitong reported over there at the CDF, that the reported maiden flight of yet another Y-20 was most likely an error and that there was this month only one new bird - no. 05 - on 2. July but nothing more.

Congratulations, you have a great potential to speak standard mandarin, because 4 and Death sounds differently to you meaning you can distinguish tones in Chinese. The two Words are different, remember Chinese has four tones, 4 has 4th tone while Death has 3rd tone. Also Madarian has many regional variants, speakers of these sub variants may have to struggle to understand each others while none of them would be able to understand Cantonese at all. If we say American English is like Mandarian, and assume Midwest accent as Standard Mandarian, Taxan would sounds like Another Mandarian variant, while Indian English would be Cantonese. It is totally OT, but just for a laugh. :D
Actually the linguistic equivalent of Mandarin to Cantonese is English to German or Dutch. Mandarin, Wu, Yue, and Minnan are as linguistically distant from each other as different Germanic languages or different Latin languages.

This looks 'like a bad case of camera shake. Camera shifted positions before the shutter closed. Very common with telephoto since small shakes lead to large shifts at a distance.

What kind of landing gear does the Y-20 use ? Because both the ARJ-21 and the C-919 uses foreign made landing gears. And those are both lighter planes than the Y-20.
