China's transport, tanker & heavy lift aircraft

I guess before lifting a heavy arty piece, there's probably some disaster relief and light armored vehicle / support weaponry lift requirement for air mobile operations. Although carrying the heavy stuff is certainly a good capability to have.
Is there any moden chinese vehicle that would fit inside a CH-53K sized cargo cabin?
I'm thinking of stuff like the Mowag EAGLE IV, or just a little below that. There's this chinese Humvee type thing, I think.

Well the CH-53 variants are very powerful helicopters they can lift 155mm howitzers with the crew and ammunition over a good distance

If China wants to shift heavy artillery like a 155mm howitzer by air they will have to build a more powerful helo to do it

So I think there is certainly scope and a requirement for such a helo

Even better would be if such a helicopter could also fit into the Y-20 Transport

China's future air mobility needs to be planed carefully with future missions in mind

Airborne combat vehicles like ZLC2000 weighting about 8-9 ton can probably fit.
I am thinking about how this make air-mechanization works for land and sea based heli-borne assault -- for example, this heavy lift helicopter deployed on new LHA type assault ships.

via huitong; apparently the first Il-78 has been delivered to China? His site doesn't give coordinates, but I assume it is at an airbase in China..

Whatever happened to the Il-78 deal anyway? Will Ukraine honour the contract after the political change?

Ukraine needs money more than it needs to piss of China, especially now. For one thing, they need money to pay off *Russians* for gas so they won't freeze to death in the winter.

Too bad it isn't a Y-20.
